Adam Boardman
I’m a 23 year old level 3 Audio Technology (BSc) student at the university. I’m very familiar with the Pro Tools software and hardware having used it for many years, so for one of my modules on my course I decided to set up a blog to pass my knowledge onto others, and hope that they find it useful.
I’ve been involved in a few projects including recording a debut album for a Lincolnshire band called Ebullient which features Christopher Sands (Hiccup Man) on guitar and backing vocals, and I’ve also been the front of house engineer for a charity concert put on for Christopher Sands to raise money for Brain Tumor Charity after he was diagnosed with a tumor. That gig was also recorded on my Pro Tools TDM system, and will hopefully soon be released in both 2.1 stereo, and 5.1 surround versions.
Outside of my audio work I am an avid developer both web based, and software based. I have recently been lucky enough to join a post-production company Goldcrest Post / The Pavement in London for my dissertation working on an generative music audio based iPhone application, which is slated for possible use by EMI or Universal Music for some of their artists including Pink Floyd, and U2. I run my own website which is linked on this blog, and I’m also a huge movie fan.
